Throughout her tenure as a music educator, she has employed the Orff-Schulwerk approach for primary and intermediate grades using recorders, xylophones, and other percussion instruments in order to convey the elements of music. African Drumming and Poetic Drumming are excellent tools she has used to integrate history and literature for intermediate and upper-level students. Her professional experience also includes writing original curricula and professional development resources for general music classes.
